Banks, Gerald Petersen in Church of God, Apr. 22 of Man- of of ceremony by the Adam of the for the were ep- a NT from take :i:i~ Bookworm says... By Wilma Turner Brides can find help at Marysville Library So you're planning to be married! Everybody will tell you to take it easy, and with the aid of some of the good books in the Marysville Library, you can do just that. The two most complete books on wedding procedure are these: "It's Your Wedding," by Flora and Kendall Bryant; and "The Bride's Book of Etiquette," published by the editors of Bride Magazine. Both cover every conceivable situation, including mixed marriages, divorced parents, and the vital necessity of getting a "head count" if you are planning to go all out. You will have to have a "rude box," which in simple English means a list of those who failed to heed the RSVP. There are other books on the 395 shelf, and "Wedding DECC CAKES FOR ALL OCCASIONS Flowers, Decorations, and Etiquette," by Virginia Clark, is on the 635 shelf. If someone is showering you, the 793 shelf has two excellent titles: "Bridal Showers," by Edith Allen, which is a small I~ok; and "The Bride's Book of Showers," a very complete book by Ginny Hopkins. Miss Hopkins even has several pages of recipes. Now that you have caught the fellow, eventually you are going to have to feed him, so better look on the 641.5 shelf to find out how. One of the best cookbooks is "Betty Crocker's Good 'n' Easy Cook Book," but there are many others as well. On the 747 shelf you'll find all sorts of books, all published by the editors of various homemaking magazines, on building and decorating old and new houses and apartments. My criticism of most of these is the amount of advertising included, but the librarians say that most patrons check them out by the armload. And then, if you want to relax a little, we have just the fiction title for you: "'They Do it in Church," by Topsy Gregory. Good luck ! Audubon will count birds this Sunday ! he ities: 659-3707 Members of the Pilchuck Audubon Society will hold a bird count at Deering Wildflower Acres on Sunday, May 21. The meeting will be at 8 p.m., Room 308 of Crystal Hall, at Everett Community College. Interested persons are welcome. The Society reports that birds sighted on their last "walk" were the Downey woodpecker, Hutton's vireo, Bewick's wren,- ruby crowned kinglet and the American goldfinch.
